I’m Virginia Hernandez, an award-winning photographer and video producer based in Austin, Texas, serving Central Texas and beyond. I work in a documentary style with an editorial eye, creating thoughtful photography and video for corporate clients, events, portraits, celebrations, and music-driven projects. My approach is grounded in authenticity, connection, and capturing moments as they naturally unfold.

Photography has been part of my life from an early age. I received my first film camera at eight years old - a bright red Vivitar that sparked a lifelong curiosity about observing and documenting the world around me. That curiosity expanded into video production during college, where I worked across nearly every role on student documentaries before moving into television productions and live broadcasts.

I’m known for creating a sense of ease and trust with the people I photograph and film. Whether working with executives, artists, or families, my goal is to help people feel comfortable enough to be themselves.

My photography has appeared on Reagan Billboards, been included in the Austin History Center archives, and published in magazines and newspapers across Texas. My video work has been featured nationwide, from digital billboards to large-scale corporate event productions throughout the state.

I’m a native Texan and have called Austin home for more than 20 years. When I’m not behind the camera, I spend time with my family and cats, find inspiration in live music, enjoy cooking and traveling, and make the occasional bad joke.
